It always interesting to see what new gadget of Ghotsbuster is. The team always carried new stuff in order to fight the spirit. The more powerful the ghost, the more complex their tools are. Without any of those super-sophisticated equipment, the members of Ghostbuster is just a bunch of ordinary people who would be scuttled when chased by the ghosts that they should’ve eliminate. Those are:

1. Proton Pack

It contains a proton charge that serves to neutralize the negative energy on ghost. Designed by Egon Spangler and Ray Stanz, proton pack had nuclear power that resilient to 5,000 years. The contens is obviously dangerous so that’s why Egon warned not to cross the proton stream while capturing a ghost, otherwise it blow up the molecules in the user body as fast as light. Proton pack is connected to a tool called Neutron Wand which serves as a pistol shooter.

2. Psychokinetic Energy Meter

Or you could name it P.K.E Meter which used to track the energy that emitted by ghost so Ghostbuster can determine the existence of ghosts, how much their energy and where their location is. If the ghost located P.K.E Meter will vibrate, the higher its energy so the antennae lifted even higher so it could warned the member to be more aware of it.

3. Ghost Trap

After the ghosts are catch by protons and weakened by it, they were dragged to a point to be under tentacle ghost named Ghost Trap. Inside the Ghost Trap filled with nuclear energy which remains stabilize the ghost energy in order to stay cooped up in a trap. It is impossible to empty Ghost Trap without emptying ghost in it.

4. Containment Unit

Known also as Ecto-Containment System or storage facilities that located in the basement office, it’s very unstable if it’s not supported by large electric power to maintain the 24 hours runs. What inside the containment unit was ghost confinement established from laser cell in millimeter size cells in each four side so the spirit couldn’t fly through it.

This equipment increases the chances of catching a ghost image. Full-spectrum camera not only could detect the light-seeing-eye but also to detect infra-red and ultraviolet though it’s not sharp as the original infra-red or ultraviolet equipment. Using this kind of camera would allow us see the appearance of energy ball called ‘orbs’ with more thorough and detailed.

This happens due to interference magnetic field are influenced by the presence of spirits or certain energy

7. Thermometer

Investigators usually use infrared digital thermometer. It might work on the spot while scanning on a wide area and the ghost presence often indicates from the temperature rapid drop at the point of 10 degrees.
