We’ve seen beautiful scenery in Before I Wake when dozens of butterflies
fluttering in the house of Jessie and Mike, and the butterflies becomes catastrophic when they transformed into a figure of Canker Man who eat people alive when
he gets inside the house where Cody was. The scene reminds me of tiny animals that often went
inside my house…what else if it’s not millipedes.
I don’t know how those appear on porch, garage, or even on
kitchen at house rear and there were many that wandering around my place like a
backpacker travelling Bali Island every day.

Perhaps this is due to rain which
did not stop until now. The torrential rain brought unprecedented things in
Cinere such as floods, one occurred in front of Pizza HUT, and the worms climbing
up from their nest to human house which experienced also by some neighbors on
which my house been located.
If those millipede are natural
animal as it should be well that might be no problem with them, but it would be
another story if they turned into something horrible like Canker Man. Here are
eight horror movies about tiny beast that bursting into the house:
1. WORM - SQUIRM (1976)
When lightning struck a large
magnitude of Fly Creek power plant in Georgia, electricity spread across the
region through underground cables. Bloodthirsty worms which live underground were
out of their nest and begin to prey on humans living in Fly Creek.
Hard to imagine when I’ve been
enjoying the shower and suddenly worms falling all over my bodies. Very disgusting
but contrary to belief, millipedes also went into the bathroom of my house.
2. LEECH-LIKE-SHAPED - DREAMCATCHER (2003)
Kindly intent to take care of a wounded
hunter to rest in lodge where they’ve been occupied turned out to be something
terrible because the hunter carrying a monster inside him and it has devoured its
host and now out into the real world where Jonsey and Beaver were there.
Beaver tried to hold that
leech-like-creature inside the toilet by sitting on it but could not help
linger because of the creature’s strength was extraordinary, and finally he
became the first victim. The mysterious leech went inside the body of Jonsey
and mastering him like a puppet master to pursue his other friends, especially
their old friend, Dudit who becomes prime target.
3. MUTANT LEECH - LEECHES! (2003)
A group of young researchers were
visiting a lake near the swamp that contaminated by chemical disposal and
radioactive waste many years ago. While swimming, they found out that it fill
with mutant leeches that migrate from the swamp through there and those leech started
to hunt them as a target to be eaten.
Enclosed in a holiday cottage on
an island they eventually have to evacuate when the flood rising hundreds of
mutant leeches onto the land. One scene that will make you goose bumps if it’s
happened in the real world, just imagining you're lying on bed with your
girlfriend but when you open your eyes to found out the one that touched you
was not your girlfriend but the leech on your back, may…how does that feel?
4. LEECH - SLITHER (2006)
Meteor that brings parasitic of
leeches-like-shaped fell in the middle of the jungle in South Carolina and
infecting Grant, a traveler that went to that jungle. The parasite enters the
body of Grant and mastering the conscious level so that over time he turned
into a monster of tentacle. Grant then became the host for those leeches and
began consuming population in town.
What do you do when you're
soaking in the bath-tub while enjoying solitude in the tranquility of time with
your favorite music on earphones, then before you know leeches emerged from the
sewer room manid, get in the water, and waiting for the right time suck your
blood?
5. ANTS- IT HAPPENED AT LAKEWOOD MANOR / #ANT (1977)
In construction process in
Lakewood, two workers accidentally destroy the ants' nest is in the closed
area. After finding the fact that those ants turned out to be very aggressive
and a killer, they tried to warn residents of the city but they were buried
alive before they could do that and hotel development continues.
The hotel management realized
something weird since there had been several deaths occurs in the hotel, such
as happened to hotel's chef, and finally realized that the ants were the main
cause. Ant maybe tiny-harmless-usual animal you see at home but still when
hundreds of ants gathered on your porch or yard and stormed into the house then
you realized they’re not just tiny-harmless-usual animal.
6. MOTH - THE POSSESSION (2012)
After buying a casket from a garage
sale, Emily becomes obsessed with her new coffin. In it there are some toys and
ornaments like moths are preserved. The coffin proved to be a Dybukk crates and
it used to confine a very powerful demon who like to kidnapped children until
Emily was being possessed by it.
Before Emily has possessed,
Dybukk first appeared in the form of moth. Moths came out of the coffin and
floating in the Emily’s rooms. Emily nature slowly turned into evil because of
it. It getting worse after her room was invaded by hundreds of moths and it’s
only a matter of time until the little girl was fully occupied by the demon.
7. ANTS - THE HIVE (2008)
In the depths of the forest
Thailand group of researchers was fighting a group of ant army that turned out
to be something strong, smart, and loves to eat meat. There are no predators in
the forest as fierce as them and they even find ways to multiply more rapidly
to increase battle and appetite of human flesh.
There’s absolutely no way to
prevent ants from coming into our homes, is it? See how they infiltrated
through the window, the door’s crack, or even from the roof of your house as
did by the ant army that trying to prey their victims in this film.
8. SPIDER - THE BELIEVERS (1987)
After the death of his wife, a
psychologist moved to New York and got a new job as a psychologist at NYPD. One
patient, Tom Lopez, an investigator who’s conducting undercover investigation into
an influential occult organizations in the town came to him and share his fear
because of the terrors that launched by the occult organization leaders.
On every film from number 1 to 7 the way of
animal get inside the house were natural, unless for Dreamcatcher because
it stays inside the stomach but still I think that’s common because we’ve seen living
being creature needs a host to survive at the beginning, but in this film we
could see the spider broke into the house by such things like witchcraft by the
occult leader, see how the heroine who was asleep suddenly realized her cheeks
bulging and dozens of spiders storming out after that.
